INVITED PARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED!

It is a pleasure to announce that the participants for the 2013 Competition have been selected. We received a total of approximately 200 applications from singers from over 45 countries. Please click here for more information about this year's invited participants.

The Queen Sonja International Music Competition is one of the world's most established and respected international singing competitions. The next competition takes place in Oslo from 14th to 29th August 2013. The goal of the Competition is to help young singers develop their careers. Total prize money for 2013 is over €50 000 and winners will be offered engagements by leading Norwegian music institutions. The competition will be adjudicated by an international jury of singing experts and casting directors from major opera houses.
