WELCOME

The Queen Sonja International Music Competition takes place every other year in Oslo, Norway, for singers from all over the world. The goal of the Competition is to help young singers develop their careers. Prize winners receive significant prize money, opera and concert engagements and, not least, exposure to an enthusiastic audience in auditoriums and in front of television screens.

The next competition will take place in Oslo in August 2013. The opening date for applications is 1 February and the application deadline is 1 April 2013.
